Quite a story
with this guy! We decided to raise World Caliber
Palomino and Buckskin show horses to
compliment our line of Gray horses from our
Gray stud. So, we asked Clint Fullerton to
help us find a young cremello/perlino colt.
We wanted one that was either a weanling or
yearling so we could raise him and show him
ourselves.
At this same
time Lanis Noble, a partner on many horses
with Sandy Ellis, had White Boy for sale.
Lanis had taken some pictures and sent them
to Sandy to forward onto a different Clint,
but she accidentally sent the pictures to
Clint Fullerton. Clint asked her how she
knew he was looking for a cremello and she
then realized that she had sent the pictures
to the wrong Clint. Anyway, based on
the pictures, Olin Parker's tremendous input
plus Lanis and Sandy's
reputation, we purchased White Boy right
away.
We drove down to Mississippi and picked him up just before Hurricane Gustov arrived! We're so happy to have him
and have since also developed a great
friendship with both Lanis and Sandy! Sandy

“White Boy” is the
latest addition to the Ellis Quarter Horse
Farm Stable. Ellis Quarter Horse Farm is
family owned and operated by Russ, Felisha &
Dylan Ellis (along with Russ’ 89 year old
dad, Dale).
Located
approximately 15 miles Southeast of St.
Joseph, MO and 35 miles North of Kansas
City, MO International Airport, our farm is
situated on 40 fenced acres in the middle of
the Midwest farm belt. We are blessed with a
great setup for breeding and raising our
horses.

Felisha has owned horses all of her life and
after marrying Russ 8 years ago, has
successfully passed that love onto him.
Within the past few years we have begun to
breed, raise and show World Caliber Halter
Horses in both AQHA & APHA. We both also
share a love for horses of Color and the
variety that adds to our program. Our tag
line for Ellis Quarter Horse Farm is;
“The Quality You Desire – Plus the Color You
Admire”
Supernatural Fella is the culmination of
that continuing dream of ours to breed and
raise World Champion Horses of Color.
We’ve also included a few pictures of us
showing our horse that really got us
“hooked”. Her name is “Ima Cool Beauty Too”
(Boots). We just love her to death and
wouldn’t be where we are today if she had
not have entered our lives. Our 5 year old
boy Dylan loves her to – even though he
calls her “Ima Cool Beauty Tootie”!
